Ontologically speaking there are several
reasons to want not to become suddenly God
awakening to find that you are Supreme Ruler
of universe and responsible for:
multiple-soul systems subsystems
integrating schedules cosmic nuances furtive animals
in heat ironic disturbances in ecosystems time zones
primordial soup kitchens elevated highways bi-ways
blood pressure cookers border patrols Fascist cloners
afternoon boners, clowns, bafoons, dangerous loners
mid-life crisis catharsis awkward awareness in eyes of
pre-adolescent pygmy princess.
(who will one day become world figure)
And the thermodynamics -- how then does HE/SHE
chief big guy/gal keep all these balls in the air without system
falling down ‘round him/herself --?
Poet Hoffman says devil teach Thermo-D let the rest
take care of itself transcendence though even in physics
or for the moment at least there is time to embrace love
gesture with friends others with same poetry smile and
forever opening arms displays of warmth merriment general
arrangements networks here there and every
where.
The thing at the core of all this is a fantastic elasticity allows
the Bengal Tiger to inhabit same conceptual space as a pair of
dirty socks owned by pharmacist in New Jersey nothing new
here like baseball played many times before, but the outcome is
why.
